Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi (GĦSL) is committed to protecting the privacy of it's web visitors, subscribers of GĦSL Mail, and web users. We strictly adhere to the following information practices:

  • GĦSL does not sell, resell, redistribute, collate, monitor, or warehouse any individually identifying information about our internet visitors without their express written consent.
  • By joining the GĦSL mailing list (GĦSL Mail), subscribers consent ONLY to the use of such information by GĦSL staff, for the purposes of contacting list members and compiling a directory of list members.
  • Upon receipt of written notice (including via e-mail), GĦSL will remove a requesting member immediately from our mailing list as soon as is practicable.
  • Some information regarding our membership and visitors may be compiled and utilized for funding and grant-writing purposes. Such information might include, for example, the number of visitors to the site per day, the number of members on the mailing list, etc. No individually identifying information will be included without the express written consent of the individual at issue.
  • GĦSL makes no guarantees whatsoever regarding the the practices of other parties involved in: (a) the creation and/or maintenance of the E-Group; (b) the hosting of the GĦSL website; or (c) any other technical, administrative, or other activity over which GHSL is not in sole control.

Due to the nature of internet working technologies, we at GĦSL are unable to promise that member information will not be compromised. However, we remain firmly committed to taking all reasonable steps to protect the privacy of our visitors and members. Further, we will never seek to profit through the sale of visitor information, and such information shall not be willingly disclosed to marketers, advertisers, or list-brokers, etc. User information will be released to law enforcement only under appropriate compelling legal authority.
