GĦSL, in its international capacity, has a dual role. On the one hand its main concern are those students who come to study at the university of Malta and follow any course offered by the Faculty of Laws. The international office of GĦSL tries to ensure that any difficulties the international students may have to face can be catered for, in that as much as possible GĦSL tries to help out these students.

GĦSL is ready to answer any possible queries, which such students may have and will try to facilitate matters. On the other hand it also caters for non-international students; that is to say it is there to answer any queries that any local students may have regarding international exchanges and the ability of going to study abroad. This has been made possible as a result of the co-operation and consultation, which takes place between GĦSL, the Socrates office and the International office.

Contacts are also being established with foreign universities via Law student organisations abroad, with the aim of establishing a strong harmonious bond with a variety of foreign universities. This in the near future will serve to help GĦSL set-up its own exchange mechanism.

GĦSL despite being a faculty-based organisation focusing on daily matters both with respect to academic activities as well as non-academic activities embodies within its structure an International office.
