GħSL demands compensation for students after postponed exam -

GħSL – Malta Law Students’ Society has been made aware that the exam component Criminal Procedure 2, which forms part of the Masters of Advocacy Course Curriculum, has been postponed by several hours, from 10am to 5pm today. This decision was taken after the original exam paper contained a number of non-examinable questions, which were already the subject of a previous exam in the first semester. Therefore, a number of students who were sitting for this exam earlier today found themselves unable to answer the paper.

GħSL believes that this turn of events has placed a large number of students at a disadvantage; undue stress has been placed on these students, who have duly prepared for this examination which was set to take place this morning at 10am. In light of this grave injustice towards the law student body, GħSL strongly believes that compensation should be awarded to these students in the form of a guaranteed set of marks.

GħSL has contacted the Faculty of Laws about this and is awaiting a reply.
