What did you want to be when you were a child?

Being a huge admirer of artistic creativity, as a child I was always attracted by the simplicity in sophistication in art and architecture. Furthermore, thanks to Blyton's and Zahra's children books, I developed a love for reading which in years, made me want to become an author myself. The dream of becoming an architect became soon blurred as I discovered the necessary need of math to pursue the profession, as admittedly, we weren't big friends. Law had never crossed my mind, and it was an unexpected choice only after a suggestion from my former-Art teacher.

What animal best describes your character?

I would compare myself to a falcon as it is cautious and waits for the right opportunities instead of acting sporadically. Moreover, it is focused on a specific goal and despite its size, it can get things done.

What are your hobbies?

I spend my free time either playing or coaching Basketball, reading a good book or practice creative writing.

Name your favourite song:

Free Bird - Lynyrd Skynyrd

Favourite quote?

If your daily life seems poor, do not blame it; blame yourself, tell yourself that you are not poet enough to call forth its riches; for to the creator there is no poverty and no poor indifferent place.
(Rainer Maria Rilke, Letters to a Young Poet)

Why have you joined GhSL and what is your role in the organisation?

Student life takes most of our time and thus, positively acting to embellish it was a huge motivation to give my services to the organization, which is ultimately there specifically to help and enrich law students' time at University and outside it. Other than having the honour to succeed in the place of various past Għ.S.L members which today have climbed the upper echelons of our society in their own competence, the organization is helping me appreciate even further student life and students' daily problems. As an academic officer, I want to give a practical touch to material studied in the lectures by organizing academic projects, without negating the priority to maintain the highest possible level of academic performance. Rather than Law being merely something to study, I will strive to, as much as I can, make it a way of life.
