Attention Law students! ELSA Malta, GħSL and JCA would like to invite you to our first Seminar on the Preliminary Reference Procedure and its use in practice; a tool which represents half of the European Court of Justice's activity and which is the basis for some of the most important rulings given till now.

The Seminar will take place on Friday 4th November during DegreePlus Hours (12:00 - 14:00) and will be led by a panel of esteemed professionals including Dr. Anthony E Borg Barthet, U.O.M., LL.D. who is a Maltese judge at the European Court of Justice and former Attorney General of Malta as well as Madam Justice Lorraine Schembri Orland amongst others.

The seminar will take the form of a debate, making the session as interactive as possible. Thus, we encourage all students who would like to know more about the subject to submit their questions to be asked to the panel on the day.

The event is free of charge and is open to all law students or other academics having an interest in the subject. A certificate of participation will be given to all attendees after the event.
