Għaqda Studenti tal-Liġi is proud to announce the launch of this year’s Policy Paper: Ir-Riforma tal-Kors tal-Liġi.

Over the past term, GħSL has gathered feedback from students to understand their experiences within the law course, engaging a total of 100 participants. This process has culminated in a policy paper that identifies the key areas in need of reform and puts forward a series of proposals grounded in the student perspective.

To complement the launch, the event will also feature a panel discussion on the future of legal education in Malta with Prof. Ivan Mifsud from the Faculty of Laws, Dr. Graziella Agius Farrugia from the Notarial Council, and Dr. Donald Vella from the Chamber of Advocates. This discussion will explore what legal education should prepare students for, identify the main strengths and shortcomings of the current system, and further discuss the reforms needed to achieve this.

The event will take place on Monday 18th May at 5:30pm at Aula Prima, Valletta Campus.
